Thanks, Panzergrenadier, for translating the relevant posts to English. Unfortunately, this is the only way I can participate in this very interesting discussion, as the on-line translator is practically useless.

Now that we clarified the sub-types of the Stukas in Bulgarian service, and the number of R-2s (12 pcs.), we should try to find out how many D-5s were in total in Bulgaria, delivered by the Germans, and how many of captured, "trophy" Ju 87s existed (and their sub-type, any G-1s?).

Another issue, why is there a Ju 88D-5, No. 55, lost in Novemebr 1944? Does it mean that there were 43 (not 32 or 33) "Doras" delivered by the Germans (12+43=55)? This is not a cleric's error, as other Doras had the following serial numbers: 50, 52 (both lost in September 1944).

Dennes, I will do my best to translate postings for you. The end of the initial posting (King Rats') says:

"Apart from Plovdiv airfield where 12th Shturmovi(Ground attack) orljak under Captain Dragomir Hristov Stefanov is stationed, the regiment(the Ground attack regiment or Shturmovija polk) also has:
-22nd Shturmovi orljak under Captain Tzvjatko Petev Kolev,stationed at Dolna Mitropolija airfield;
-32nd Shturmovi orljak under Captain Stefan Hristov Drumchev, stationed at Gorna Orjahovitza airfield.
On the airfield of Gorna Orjahovitza all Stukas of the Regiment are gathered. Additional 10 Stukas last model,war trophies,fitted with cannons on the undercarrige for tank-busting,were added to the Regiment. Soon after May 9th 1945 an order to destroy all Ground attack planes is issued and 32nd Shturmovi orljak to be disbanned."

Probably these are the G-1s. I hope Ivan will clear this out.

Бях обещал снимки на Ju 87R в България.

За първата машина предполагам, че е немска (виж буквата "Йот" на обтекателите на колелата). Другата си е наша, на летището в Ловеч, вероятно за ремонт

Във връзка с камуфлажа на модел, който изработвам, ме интересува Щуките D-5 вариант, получени през 1944г. нови ли са били, употребявани или смесено. Също ме интересува цветните пояси на тялото като част от ЕБО-то какъв цвят е в периода до 09.44г., ако въобще в този период /от получаването до септември 1944г/ Щуките неучаствайки във военни действия са имали ЕБО? Интересува ме и оцветяването на краищата на крилата?
